Das Stipendiaten-Portal der Bayerischen Forschungsstiftung
Die Bayerische Forschungsstiftung möchte mit ihren drei Programmen im Bereich Internationale Zusammenarbeit nicht nur die internationalen Beziehungen in Wissenschaft und Forschung durch eine unbürokratische Unterstützung einzelner Wissenschaftler fördern, es ist der Stiftung auch wichtig, die Verbindung zu ihren Stipendiaten zu stärken und die Kommunikation der Geförderten untereinander zu ermöglichen. Dazu findet einmal jährlich ein Stipendiatentreffen statt, bei dem den neuen Stipendiaten ihre Stipendienurkunde überreicht wird und im Rahmenprogramm eine Wissenschaftseinrichtung besucht und vorgestellt wird. Als weiteren Baustein zum Aufbau eines Netzwerks bietet die Bayerische Forschungsstiftung ihren Stipendiaten mit dem Stipendiaten-Portal die Möglichkeit, eine informelle aber konstante Plattform für den interdisziplinären und internationalen Austausch der wissenschaftlichen und beruflichen Interessen sowie für persönliche Anliegen zu nutzen. Ausländische Wissenschaftler kommen während ihres Aufenthalts in Bayern leichter in Kontakt und erfahren gezielt Neuigkeiten von ihrem Fördermittelgeber. Auch bayerischen Stipendiaten im Ausland wird der Austausch und die Information untereinander erleichtert. Der Zugang zum Portal ist dem Kreis der Stipendiaten vorbehalten.
The Fellow Portal of the Bavarian Research Foundation
With its three types of programmes in the field of International Cooperation, the Bavarian Research Foundation aims at not only promoting international relations within science and research through an unbureaucratic support of individual scientists, but also at strengthening the link to its fellowship holders and facilitating communication between the fellows themselves. To this end, a fellowship meeting takes place once every year, during which new fellows are presented with their fellowship certificates and as part of which a selected scientific institution is visited and introduced. As an additional step towards establishing a network, the Fellow Portal of the Bavarian Research Foundation offers its fellowship holders an opportunity to use an informal but constant platform for interdisciplinary and international exchange of scientific and professional interests as well as for personal concerns. This makes it easier for foreign scientists to make contact during their stay in Bavaria and to receive specific news from their sponsor. For German fellows abroad, information exchange and communication is similarly facilitated. The access to the portal is limited only to the circle of fellows.
